主讲人简介: Jose H Ablanedo-Rosas is an Assistant Professor at the Information and Decision Sciences Department, College of Business Administration at the University of Texas at El Paso. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. Before he came to the United States, he was professor from the Business and Industrial Engineering Department at the Tec of Monterrey in Mexico for more than 10 years, at the same time he served as senior consultant for multiple Mexican organizations. Dr. Ablanedo-Rosas’ research interests include quantitative models for supply chain management, scheduling, logistics, supply chain management design, applied optimization.  He has published in journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, International Journal of Production Research, Expert Systems, International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics, International Journal of Services Sciences, International Journal of Management in Education, and International Journal of Information and Operations Management Education. He serves as Associate Editor in Chief for the International Journal of Business Research and Management, and as a member of the Editorial Review Board for the International Journal of Applied Logistics and the International Journal of Combinatorial Optimization Problems and Informatics. Dr. Ablanedo-Rosas also is active reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Modelling in Operations Management, International Journal of Sustainable Society, International Journal of Society Systems Science, and International Journal of Industrial Engineering – Theory, Applications and Practice. He is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science, Institute for Supply Management, and Text and Academic Authors Association.
